OpenAI releases GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.5 Pro to API
OpenAI released GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.5 Pro to its API, available in Responses and Chat Completions endpoints with GPT-5.5 Pro in Responses API. Both feature 1 million token context window. GPT-5.5 tops benchmarks including 82.7 on Terminal-Bench 2.0 over Anthropic’s Mythos Preview at 82.0, 85.0% on ARC-AGI-2 Max, and 87.4% on MathArena versus GPT-5.4’s 74.7%. Vercel deployed them on AI Gateway for agentic workflows via openai/gpt-5.5 and openai/gpt-5.5-pro identifiers. Available on Hermes Agent and OpenRouter.
