OpenAI launches Auto-Review mode in Codex

OpenAI launched Auto-Review mode in Codex last week, setting it as the default inside the company. The feature, built by the alignment team, automates permission approvals previously requiring manual clicks by AI agents. It reduces required approvals by approximately 200 times, enabling Codex to process far higher volumes of internal agent actions while maintaining the same review policy.
